Internal Public Relations
March 8th, 2010 . by admin“Public relations” to most people is the promotion of a particular product or service. However, that is only one kind of PR that is being practiced today. PR is also used internally within companies and organizations to communicate with their employees.
Newsletters, bulletins, web sites and employee events and meetings are some of the ways a company communicates information to its employees. It tells them what the company is doing, what their role is and why it is important, and solicits comments and suggestions. This helps in creating a positive company culture and understanding of the company’s mission and values.
