Raising Her Daughter Alone
June 29th, 2009 . by adminI have a loving husband who provides well for our family. He watches the kids whenever I need him to, and helps with discipline. I know nothing about the disadvantages of single parenting. My sister-in-law, however, does. She has been raising her three-year-old daughter alone almost since she was born. The father rarely gives her money, and I have watched her struggle to make ends meet. There are times when she seems at her wit’s end trying to keep up with both work and home life. Friends and family have helped her with childcare, but it’s not the same as having a husband available full-time.
