Rising Rates
February 21st, 2010 . by adminTonight there was a piece on our local news about the rising electricity prices. Our state has been hit with record snowfall amounts this winter and it is reflected in electric bills. One person I know had an electric bill of almost $600 last month and her friend told her to quit complaining as hers was almost $900. I’m scared to see what my bill will be. It should come next week and I am dreading opening it. If they go up again, as many have said they will, my family will have to live in the dark. We can’t afford $600 electric bills, much less $900 ones.
