When my parents said that I could have a really big graduation party, I decided to really ask for the moon and request that it be held at one of the Monterey Hotels in our area. I thought that if the party were held close to home there was a chance that they might agree. To my surprise they did give me the go-ahead as long as they and several other parents were there to chaperone. Every parent knew exactly whom they were responsible for and we were not allowed to leave the hotel. That was o-kay with me. The pool stayed open until 2:00AM and then we danced to music in one of the ballrooms until it was time for breakfast. I had the most amazing party!
